Now that is difficult! Judging from what little is seen and what we know he had used by that point, I'd guess it's the Elka Rhapsody 610.
Also, behind just below the Mini Moog I think is the Roland SH1000* and below the Prophet 5 is the SH3a.
Really hard to tell, since there's some guy trying to be busy in front!
*edit: it could be the Moog Satellite! |

Around 5:17 in the clip, you see Vangelis bending down to press a key on the keyboard you suspect is the Elka Rhapsody 610, and you can hear the melodious sequence transposing, after which he taps the CSQ100 sequencer. In other words, the keyboard is connected with the sequencer, which is a gate/CV sequencer. I didn't think the Elka Rhapsody 610 had CV/gate outputs, but of course it is possible that he may have modified it, like so much of his other gear....
Anyway, here is an informative article about Vangelis' gear, great next to the Sound on Sound article... |

I have no idea what he's doing with that synth, whatever it is..
At that point it seems to me that a pad sounds swells up.
(The sound and video seem to be out of sync at points.)
But going by that small glimpse and comparing it to pictures from around the net, the Rhapsody 610 is my first choice.
BTW, that's a great link you posted, but there's one slight "error":
"The Korg Minipops is a drum computer, most known for being used by Jean Michel Jarre on Oxygene in 1976, but the only likely place for Vangelis to have used it was for the march on To the Unknown Man on Spiral."
No, definitely not. That is a real snare drum, I'd bet my synths for it.
I think I've read everything there is, but this forum is a new one for me!
Some new info here that I didn't know. Brilliant! |

You already corrected your mistake concerning the drum machine in the last Arbre de Vie improvisation, in this clip you can see it as well as hear it I love this improvisation!
